Advise on the economics of a project and the preparation of budget.
Liaison with project designers to ensure that project can be completed within an approved budget.
Advise on tendering procedure and contractual arrangement to be employed.
Preparation of tender documents including Bills of Quantities.
Tender analysis and reporting.
Preparation of interim valuation and periodical financial reports on projects.
Cost control during construction so that the budgeted cost is not exceeded without authority.
Liaison with project Architect and/or Engineer to ensure that the financial provisions of the contract are properly interpreted and applied so that the client’s financial interest is safeguarded.
Preparation of final account at the end of the project.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

This is the planning, control and management on behalf of the client, the Consultants and Contractors engaged on a construction project and ensuring that the project is completed on time and within the pre-determined cost, bearing in mind the client’s requirements.

This is a specialized service for which we can be commissioned either separately or together with the Quantity Surveying services at an extra fee. In providing this service, the client need not be involved in the day-to-day administrative matters on the project but only on policy decisions.

ARBITRATION/EXPERT WITNESS

Construction is a tedious process with a lot of intricacies. Sometimes, disputes can arise either on the interpretation of contracts entered into or payments to be made and naturally, someone has to come in to effect a settlement.

Due to our specialized knowledge, we do undertake to play the role of an Arbitrator. Where we are not required as an Arbitrator, any of the parties involved in a dispute can employ us to give expert evidence before an Arbitrator or a Court of Law.
